Peyton Manning is pretty amazing.  That was his first playoff game won against the Broncos, and with the Chiefs defense like it is, im sure it won't be his last playoff win.;)

Pucker factor just went off the scale for New England as I'm sure they watched the game today against the Chiefs.  Amazing, no punts in the last two games for the Colts.

When will I learn?

All in all, a bad football weekend for Rude.

This man is psychic.  Oh how I despise the Chiefs right now. :)

Well, I missed the most important prediction- who'd win. I figured no defense, special teams nod would go to KC, and I figured a high scoring game, but I guessed the Colts would find a way to lose. Holy Cow, Peyton just absolutely dominated that game. Hats off to Priest Holmes and Trent Green and the rest of the KC offense, and some very gutsy calls from Vermeil; they had them in the position to tie if they could get a stop. But their defense? Phew...

Now it's time to root for GB. Man, would that be an awesome Super Bowl? Colts vs. Green Bay?

Just peeked at the KC Star Classified Ads for tomorrow. Found this one:

Quote
High Scoring NFL team looking for a Defense for 2004 season. Playoff possibilities. Apply Dick Vermeil, 816-XXX-XXX.

>

I'm thinking the Pats better hope for sub-zero weather again and that the Wx factor really bothers Manning.

LOL Toad. I kinda used to feel that way about the Colts, kinda the Chicago Cubs of football. I concede the Chiefs may have just taken that title away.

And think of poor Trent Green. What'd he have, 250 yards throwing? 31 points and lost?

And Priest Holmes? 170 yards rushing and lost?

Dante runs one back, and they lost?

Gonna be lotsa salary cap room in KC when they clear that defense out.

Yeah, now the big question is Defensive Coordinator.  When Vermeil said he was coming back for the 04 season, he also said he's keeping Greg Robinson.

Now, can we keep Robinson and cut/hire where we need to do so? Or do we need to axe Robinson and cut/hire where we need to do so.

Interesting off season coming up.
