Is this game somewhat related to IRON MAIDEN?

Damn it, the band Iron Maiden has a song in the Powerslave album (1984) called Aces High and it is about air war in world war II.

I had always hoped Brendo would do a video of a Spit and LW Mix up, with Iron Maidens Aces High in the Background.

If i'm not mistaken...that song isn't just about WWII air copmbat...but about the Battle of Britain. This heavy metal band was always singing about historical battles such as The Trooper (Charge of the Light Brigade) and Alexander the Great

Yeah, those guys could actually read.    Let's not forget Dune and Where Eagles Dare, either.  However, since the song IS about the Battle of Britain, then yes it IS just about WWII air combat.

Im surprised HiTech didnt think to reserve the name "Aceshigh" as a callsign on his own game.

Next thing there'll be someone flying around with "Warbirds" above his aircraft, then "Playnet". Before long, all the big commercial companies will be subsidising players to use their product names. Then we'll be seeing messages in the buffer like MSExcel killed Lotus123.

I currently make in the area of $55K U.S. dollars a year, so for a comparable salary or compensation and free Physical therapy for Carpal Tunnel Syndrom, Free Vision care, Etc. I am willing to fly Virtual Air Combat Simulations approximately 8 to 10 hours a day.

Saturdays and anything over 10 hours would be at time and a half.

Sundays and Holidays at double time.

Sundays during American Football or Hockey would be at triple time.

Hi all, This is my first post. I see I have several "Friendly NME"s" on this BB, hehehe,  Hi HB, Milnko, Teufel.  I must be a little older than U guys, Never heard of the IRON MAIDEN. I have heard of some of the songs u refer too though. Glad to see Aces High develope, and, am anxious to download Beta and try it. Glad to see Hitech back in action. I'm sure it will be great!
