Here are the sides for the event. Remember this SSO is recreating the Philippines Invasion in 1941. The Japanese had overwhelming numbers.
So for right now the IJN & IJA have slightly more numbers but the Axis side usually turns out less. However, anyone assigned a B5N or D3A1 will get a second life.
Meaning the USAAFFE will have deal with the IJN second strike capability. So the USAAFFE might initially have more fighters (depending on how the CiC deploys the Japanese) but over the whole course of the frame the USAAFE will be outnumbered. Placing an emphasis on survival for the USAAFFE. Americans die in first part of frame and the Japanese will have cake walk later on.
