I've been seeing some "evil" posts about buffs and I just want to let you guys know..

that I would rather fly my buff at 12k and get a chance to shoot you fighter turds down rather than fly at 50k and have a long boring flight.

Still... I get some cruel satisfaction knowing that it took him forever to climb up to 25+K before I drilled him from the turret and sent his smoking wreck of a plane back to the ground.

Flying at 12K in a buff is just asking to die. I've had some success in B26 at lower altitudes, but the Lancaster is so horribly vulnerable, you have to take it high.

You mean like "New NEWS!!" I guess some guys figger the cookies don't work or the fact that the news,announcements section is the FIRST forum listed with a nice bright yellow light bulb that will turn on when something new is up.

Hmmm, I've had plenty of success fly both Lancasters and Ju88s between 10,000ft and 20,000ft.

I never go over 20,000ft in a bomber.
