Heh... yeah and it's extra challenging with the icons vanishing in the gunsight.

I love it already though.

I gather that the D11 is not the uber waste gate version?

Oh no, and I certainly didn't expect that.  Pyro has to use test data to model these things, so field mods like that are very difficult to come by data for I'm sure, even if they were very common.  Besides, you wouldn't want to open up THAT can of worms if you can avoid it.

Now a "Lucky" with overboost as a perk... now that would be cool.

Flew three sorties with the new -47D-11 and I really like the ride.  I didn't find any significant advantages over the other Jugs.  Climb and acceleration seemed better but I had no way to quantify that impression.  I did notice that the airplane "value" is only 18 while the the far more capable -D30 model has a value of 30.  That give the -D11 the same value as the D model Mustang.  Is there a justification/reason for the reduction in value since its performance is still nowhere near that of a P-51?

MiG,

It seems that all new aircraft enter AH with a ENY value of 18.  After a tour or two the ENY gets changed to reflect the usage trends that have been observed.

Only got up for an hour last night and tryed the p47-11. She is a sweet ride, and even with the icon bug, shes a killer. Does seem to hold E better than the 30 or 25. Had nothing but fun in her.

Dog out...

It can (nearly and with e) dogfight nikis on the deck, quite a plane id say its better than a 51D.
