He's wound out in 6th gear. Just check the top speed for the bike to see if it's possible.

I've put a camera on my bike when I went through the canyons and I was shocked at how slow it looked on TV.  The visuals are only part of the equation, I've blasted down the street at 100mph then when I checked the onboard camera, it looked like I was driving Miss Daisy.

That guy was doing the speed, that was sweet.  A stock Hayabusa can just get 200mph, and that was w/ a Turbo.

I was thinking the same thing. I watched it a second time and noticed the intersecting road on the left just didn't fly by quickly enough to match the speed on the speedometer.

I'm guessing 140ish.... (just noticed his reflection on the speedo Looks like a she)

I can't call myself a video detective, but I have personal experience with video taping from a fixed camera on my motorcycle.  

With that in mind, the speed registered on the speedo is consistent with the rest of the video, based on what I've seen.  I've filmed my bike up to 140 registered, and it was proportionally slower looking on playback.

sorry..the acceleration from 40mph to 110mph is simply too fast to be believed.  Approsamiately 4 seconds.  You can see the bike is doing 30mph just preparing for the run.  It looks like he may be doing 10 to 15 mph tops at that point.  He must have rigged the speedometr with a smaller gear or something.

On the video:
60-80 MPH     0.89 seconds
80 - 100 MPH 1.49 seconds

Ducati :  60-100 7.84
Video Bike: 2.38

However a Yamaha YZF1000R ('97)
60-80mph time (sec.)  3.01
80-100mph time (sec.)  2.88

60-100 in 5.89

The video bike accelerates over twice as fast.

So is this bike a fake or real?
