Older Gameport Pedals Question

I understand gameport pedals cannot be run with a USB Fighterstick.......

Is it possible to run gameport pedals with a USB stick using a gameport to USB adaptor that came with one of my old Sidewinder Sticks?  It seems like there are a lot of less expensive rudder pedals on the market but they are all gameport models.

I've never had to try it myself, but I think you can set them up in AH, even if windoze is too stupid to recognize them.

I've tried using the USB connector that came with the Sidewinder to my old gameport CH PRO pedals but it won't work, even when connected through another stick.

Best way (only way?) is to go and buy an analog stick, porbaly cost $10 or less. Connect the stick to the pedals and the pedals to the computer then install the stick in the controll panel and mark "as rudder" or something like that.

Wilbus' suggestion works well. I have a buddy doing it with CH pedals.

Radio shack makes a joystick usb adapter that will work with any analog (non-programable) setup.  It should be ideal for Rudder Pedals.  I think I have one sitting at home that I tried with my F-22 (thus the 'non-programable' caveat).  It would work well for trying to use gameport pedals with a USB interface.

I'll post more on it when I get home tonight.
