Normally I avoid reality TV like the plague, but this one sparked my interest a bit.

Anyone see last week's episode?

I thought the guys made a real mess of the lemonade sales thing and they deserved to get hammered by the women.

Here is what I would have done...and I told the wife my plan that night.

First off, it is very difficult to sell lemonade that is poured out of an open container in New York City.  I suppose having a camera crew around would spark some kind of interest and possibly some "trust" that the water was okay, and that no-one spat into the cup being offered, but I would NEVER drink fresh mixed lemonade from some goof on the streets of a big city like that.

So...in this regard I would have made some calls and found a vendor selling the British "fizzy" lemonade out of bottles.  In New York I cannot imagine it would be tough to find.

Then I would have bought as many cases of the stuff as I could with the money I had.  Check that...I would have gotten the salesman guy to negociate a good price and then bought it.  I would have marked up each bottle by a reasonable amount..say  a dollar a bottle.

Secondly, these guys should have known that the girls would eventually turn to sex to sell their product...which they did, with great success.

They should have fought fire with fire.

The guys who have decent looks and bodies should have taken off their shirts leaving only their ties on.  They should have then targeted/flirted with every single woman who walks past and sell them a nice clean bottle of fizzy lemonade.  The camera crew would have helped them to do so, in my opinion.  People love to get on TV, or in an advertisment at a minimum.

The rest of the guys could have just flogged bottles to whomever they could...as they did manage to do (and doubled their money.)

Just my opinion...your thoughts?

Really? 7-Up and Sprite sell a whole lot in the US....and it is essentially the same thing.

The Brit version is simply called "Lemonade"...commonly referred to as "Fizzy Lemonade".  Tastes almost idential.

There is a brand of carbonated lemonaide sold here in the US, I forget off hand the brand name, but I tried it once, and it sucked.
But, I don't like carbonated water either.  I like soft drinks, and they must be carbonated, but fizzy lemonaide? ewwww

7Up and Sprite are a lemon/lime drink mostly in name, mostly sugar or corn syrup anyway.  Some things work, some dont.

It could be just the names we use in the differant countries.

As clever as that sounds, I wonder if there were some rules that weren't explained on television about manipulation of the product prior to presentation to the end user.  I didn't see the episode so I can't really form an opinion, but Curval's plan is good and I can't help but wonder why none of the contestants didn't give it a shot themselves.

The little guy who everyone tried to get rid of is the dark horse in this competition.

He was the one who tried to sell a glass of the lemonade for $1,000...I thought he was pretty smart to give it a shot, it is the kind of thing that gives Trump a boner if he could have pulled it off.  Even trying to do it would have impressed Donald.

He also recognised the women would be selling lemonade with sex...but he tried to get women off the street to sell lemonade for him.  Right idea...just wrong practical approach.

He just needs to calm down and relax.  He is so gung ho to work with Trump he looked pretty goofy.
