"Send a bottle to HTC" campaign starts today
« on: December 26, 2000, 08:30:00 AM »
Seeing as how hard HTC has worked to get 1.05 out the door, and how loathe they are to take any time off, it's time that we band together and send them the means to get drunk at work. I'd like to invite anyone who so desires, to "send HTC a bottle" to show our appreciation for their efforts.

What we need first is someone to post the names and phone numbers of places in Grapevine that will deliver for us. Udie or anyone else that lives near the area, please help us out.

Secondly, I need someone from HTC to post what each person's drink of choice is.

Ok folks, let's get the ball rolling. Let's see how much booze we can send to them by Friday night.

A little bird has informed me that Vodka, Crown Royal and Beer are also good choices.

Can't seem to find any liquor stores in Grapevine that deliver, though. May have to send via the internet.

You can't buy liquor in Grapevine.  The closest it's a available is in Dallas or Flower Mound.

LOL! I just got off the phone with Centennial Liquors in Dallas, and they said that nobody can deliver alcohol to Grapevine, because it's "Dry".

Looks like the best way to get it there is via the internet. Here's another good place to order form:

HT, I see you haven't tried The MacAllan yet.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

In the later part of the year of 2000 there was a decree that went out from Texas to all the world. Everyone,(Bishop,Rook or Knight) large or small, dweebish or non-dweebish was summoned to respond to pay tribute to the King!
Be it known your Magisty that I your loyal and faithful subject hast heard and freely capitulated. My hope is that you and your court would have the Happiest of Holiday Seasons and protect us from the evil Flight Simlords that abound and come taunt us with there wares. Continueth in thy paths of excellence and keep us from temptation. For thou hast provided us with a treasure of exceeding great joy and entertainment.

I would like to only say a special thanks to your royal wenches "Maid Yankee & Maid Ronnie" for there exceeding diligence.Their abilities, beauty and grace are befitting his magisty.

To squires "Natedog & Superfly".. I commend you for all of your efforts and many talents that you bring to his Magisty's Table. Thou art worthy of his favor.

Next, to his eminently trusted Knight "Sir Pyro" I bow humbly at your feet. Defender of the kingdom,I beseech thee to press on preserving the sovereignty of its realm. O noble knight continueth to slay the Dragons the lurk about to destroy what together ye hast created. Lay waste to thoughs who seeketh to destroy and through them at the Kings feet as a tribute.

And lastly Your HiTechness, I lay prostrate and grovel in your presence. For we,your subjects are "NOT WORTHY!" I give thanks to you for orchestrating such a marvelous kingdom that we enjoy. There is none other to compare! I hear rumors about in the land of "Jesters" loyal to other kings claiming them to have a better kingdom. But alas as I have traveled far and wide I knowest that thine kingdom is the only kingdom worth living in. Your magisty, may the hearts of your subjects rise up and proclaim praises and bestow gifts upon you. Have a HAPPY HOLLIDAY and thank you!

Your loyal subject,

Thunder

As we move into the next millennium
"May ye live long and prosper!" and go to "Infinity and Beyond!"

THANKS
