1.05 Download Problems

Maybe because it's busy, although there were only about 50-60 of us on when it was announced...cannot connect/download when I click on the download links.  Noticed others posted problem also.

I started to get the update, albeit slowly, when my ISP decided it would be a good time to drop me.  Reconnected, hit the downloads page, hit the link again, and got the 404 crap.  Tried right clicking and 'save target as' but I get a dialog box that says 'the server returned extended information'

Anyone who has already gotten it gonna put up a mirror somewhere?  Please?  

It's running on the autoupdater, but even slower than the first attempt to download it

Well, good thing is that my new stick arrives in mail today, too. Maybe while I'm hitting 'reload' it'll be dropped off.

I tried FTPing into the server - too many anon. users already connected it says..

I really hope someone is gonna put up a mirror site.

Didn't they have this problem last version, where their network/server couldn't keep up with demand?  I don't understand why they wouldn't be prepared this time.

When trying to DL from game start it would take over 1.5 hours for 9MB's if I had a dial up I' say it was a lil slow, but cable should knock it out in a couple of minutes at the most.

Im using Download accelerator, it log on 7 times to get max transfer speed, i get "max anon uses" and it asks me to enter a password.  This is normal, just wait a while fellas, they are bogged down a bit....time my children....time.

well, werent people saying that this file would be avaliable on mirror sites as to not bog down htc's server?

BTW, thats kinda odd that my wsftp says it wont accept anonymous logins, and my browser gets page not found errors.

If someone downloads it, by god, icq me that file, ill post it on MY server and let people DL it from my cable modem!!!

Yep it looks like the off site FTP server is set for some relatively small number of simultaneous logins.

So right now its at the max # of users, so us poor suckers can't get in.

Here in Central Michigan , there is no new download link to 1.05 up . Just the old pages are there , deleted all the old offline content etc and still no new page  

Tried it on both pc I have too btw . Auto update was working but went down once already . Would like to get it from the download page but still has all the 1.04 patach 5 stuff there .

Hope it gets working better soon .

Download through www.hitechcreations.com  is now working, seems to be linked to  fd-ski's site (www.raf303.org).  Got good download speed, 800kbps.
