This is downright unsafe.

I have to admit that its a cool example of fabriction work.  I recognize some of the pieces, but most of it looks like he scratch-built himself.  A bit juvenile selection of subject matter, but an interesting example of creative fabrication.

Sadly, a car like that parked in most London streets would be vandalised within minutes.

Nice idea though.

If the R2D2 robot isn't complete and lowered into the back of the car, the chick attraction factor goes down from -8.2% to -43.9%.

Isn't it supposed to have some sort of fancy ejection system rather than an airbag?

Come to think of it, I don't recall any of the X-wing pilots ever ejecting.

Err, I don't know much about star wars, but if you eject into space, you sort of explode.

Sadder than that car is, Bevo might be right. Although certainly they are pry not sporting a 'Hitler stash' under their Princess Laya robes, I always wanted to use the force on one of those Trekky hags. I bet they get freaky.

LOL

I'm not nearly that far along!  I'm still ironing out the fiber optics inside the dome and several of the detail parts have been machined and received (aluminum).  Now its making all the gears, motors, servos, lighting and sounds to work with each other.  Still trying to figure out the middle-foot system..linear actuator or pneumatics.

Its a fun project...but I'm not nearly as obsessed at that dude is!  :p

(I bet his garage is carpeted too!)

Whats worse, a garage that has the ability to supply a need for a romper room for children in the rainy months, or an adult making a kids toy? :p

Why would I explode if I eject into space? I would run out of oxygen or freeze in a few days or overheat, if too close to a star or dehydrate/starve but what would make me explode?
