Looking for a new power supply, recomendations?
« on: January 17, 2004, 10:47:01 PM »
I need a new power supply for my computer and I would like to know of a nice, reliable brand. I'm looking for a 350-400W supply.

Antec, Enermax or PC Power & Cooling (though PCP&C are a bit pricey)

Kaz that one is nice put is a little high for me.

Eagler I really like that supply but I'm afraid it might not fit in my case. The main reason is because my supply sits with it's top flush agains't the top of the case, which means that top fan wouldn't have any room to breathe.

I have a couple of these Fortron 120mm fan units.  I really like them.  They are good solid power supplies for not too much $.  They are also dead quiet, which is a big deal for me.  350W & 400W

They also have the same two available with a blue LED in the fan if you like that kind of thing.

Go for an Antec TruPower series. Aside from getting a highly reliable P/S, the distribution rail they use is astounding.
