Add a For Sale Etc. Forum?
« on: January 18, 2004, 12:23:38 AM »
Since Aces High has such a close-knit membership with so many common interests, any chance of adding a new Sale/Rent/Swap Forum?

Sure would beat searching around general commercial sites on the Internet for WWII-related stuff, or just stuff particularly interesting to Aces High members.

Could add the usual caveat of Aces High not responsible for any problems and does not endorse any particular etc. etc. etc.  Should limit postings to paid Aces High subscribers.

Would be best if could use to sell/rent/swap anything, but if space or other considerations require, could limit it to WWII memorabilia including, e.g., aircraft and ground vehicle scale models, DVD or CD programs, books, magazines, warbird rides, uniforms, badges, that sort of thing.

Good idea, it also could be a place to B/S/T video cards, joysticks etc.

I think that if some swapping/selling goes on as the BBS stands now there is no legal liability for HTC.

If, on the other hand, they set up a For Sale (etc) Forum HTC could be seen as promoting such activity on their boards and open themselves up to becoming embroiled in a legal dispute if one party in a sale/swap is aggrieved.
