Hit CV, strafed a PT boat, took damage, RTBed to friendly CV, rearmed, took off, got shot down but got the bastard! TBM has nothing on the B26, the best carrier-borne bomber

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

a few hours ago i was playing, we took down the carrier and nothing but destroyers left, so the other country rammed their destroyers into our fleet and all hell broke loose. we lost a ship but we fought off the rest (my pt boat got the main boat kill!! hurray for torpedos)

Daft question, but when the fleets get entangled like that how do you tell which of the large ships are friendly without getting close enough to get shot at by them?

You can see them coming from far off graywolf. A CV at distance is a formidable sight.   A faint silhouette on the horizon that keeps getting bigger and clearer.

That cruiser you see sinking in my screenshot is the one I was manning The forward Main Guns on. While I was hurling 8 inch rounds into the enemy carrier, the enemy cruiser was sinking 8 inch rounds into my ship! (that beeeyatch)

Was way toooo fun. I felt like that little kid in that movie "A Christmas Story", after just getting my red rider dual action carbine B-B Rifle! My 6 and 4 year old sons were going nutso at all the wonderful carnage that lay before their eyes! Every time I ripped loose a salvo they'd yell a "Yeah baby!" and high five each other. I gotta admit, I was giggling like a little boy.

I vote a resounding yeeess on carrier duels! (got that from gordo)

I was in the middle of this fight along with a few squaddies and a few old friends.

It was friggin INSANE!!

My biggest problem was that once the two fleets got intermingle, I couldn't tell which fleet was which.

Add to that, the fact that your own fleet will be shooting at enemy PT boats, and kinda forget that your inbetween point A (their cannons) and B (the enemy target), and it rapidly becomes utter chaos.

We need icons for shipss, or better yet, as someone suggested, FLAGS!

Those screen shots are absolutely stunning!

And that was awesome fighting last night. I've yet to see a CV "sink" but the battles last night kept me up to 2am.

Also add a big YES to flags.

And AP rounds for 8'', pleease. And, btw, smoke and damage model for big boats. And...

I'm really concerned on the sleep time toll I WILL have to pay. If Htc releases 1.06 in high work season, I'm fired for sure.
