when 2 fleets come into contact you get the biggest fight ever. ships exploding and pt boats roaring up coast lines = fun

 I'm speachless. When I logged on and spent 2 hrs (felt like 30 seconds) having a blast - in spite of the fps hit.
 I felt like a 10 yr old on Christmas morning.

Like Torque-a-mada said. Luv it except for the hit on framerate. I have come to expect these hits from every majr version upgrade so I'm not that suprised. Just built a new system to handle it but I screwed up and bought a Vodoo whooodooo instead of a Gforce. But I still get great FPS away from dueling CV's. Base ack is a little heavy. One of my main pastimes when there is no one to fight is to kill all the ack at a field and steal it. Guess I'm not going to be doing that anymore I will just have to find a diffrent pastime......... PT Boats ROCK!!!

Yeah, it ROCKS.

I would decrease the amount of AAA in carrier groups and fix that framerate horror and it would all be...perfect.

As it is now, carrier groups are magnets for ack huggers... and since the CV's got unholy ack and flak PLUS pt boats PLUS fighters around it, all they do is run to ack. Quite sad. Even had a 20k co alt on a yak vs an f4 and he just dove for his flak.. as I dived after it the flak ripped me open. This happened like 3 times and I did it once myself..it works! AUGH! =P

I agree, the fleet battles are nothing short of stunning.  Awesome job, HTC.

I'd wait awhile before pushing to tone anything down, too.  It may simply take some time learning and adapting to the new gameplay.

Except for the lockups which I am sure will be fixed soon, this was about as much fun as you can have...with your clothes on at least.

Man, I played until my eyes were bloodshot, and I had a headache.   The best time I've had in a sim in forever. The sea battles are awesome. Looks like the WW2 footage of PTO battles. Level bombing the enemy carrier from 20k is tough, but it can be done   Few bugs, but overall, excellent work!!! My wife is going to hate you guys for this version <G>
