that thing is nice man, Gotta question for you, how did you not paint over the meatal seams, or did you just make new ones?

the way I did it was to first change the bitmap to a jpeg.  then you make a new layer over the image and set it to whatever transparency you feel is appropriate for what your doing, then simply fill the new layer with the color you want and save it as a 256 color bitmap.

I have to admit that you guys can do a heck of a lot better than me.  I couldn't draw new panels and such.  When I color, I just go over the panels, and of couse parts of the plane end up being a solid color. Do you guys have any art background?

Revgst, what are you using?

with a real photoshop program (not ms paint) you can adjust the hue/saturation/lightness and gamma of something which basically changes the color.  

That is how I made the wings for the pony I made...he didn't use a paintbrush or anything, just adjusted the hue/saturation/lightness or gamma.
