Outstanding program.

If they would have showed this stuff to me when I was in high school I'd have paid attention.

It's never too late to pursue your dreams.  I say go for it Saur.  Ten years from now, you will be 45 whether you're a barbarian or not.

Not meant as a jab...you think it's easy being a barbarian!?!?  Barbarians are intelligent.  You can take all the fast cars, stylish boats and suburban two-car garage houses in the world, put 'em in a bag and toss 'em out.

Barbarians are men of action and adventure...well, they used to be anyway.  Look at the Viking achievement.  Don't have those kind around nowadays.

Another thing.  Barbarians garner the admiration of beautiful women.  That in itself makes being a barbarian a worthy goal.  In all seriousness, the term "barbarian" is misused and misunderstood in these times.  Imo, they are worthy of our emulation and respect.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but in the Spanish culture, being called a "barbarian" by a woman, means she likes you.  Probably means you're the best at what you do.

It was a good series of shows. They showed em back to back today and I spent most of the day on the couch watching them.  Well made, and the re-enactments kept it from getting too dry.

I saw a few minutes of one of the episodes and was intrigued, but I think I'll wait for the DVD so I don't have to sit through the commercials.  Looked like more of a storyline with a historical background to it, and if so then I'd rather watch the whole thing without interruptions so I can keep things straight.

Speaking of Vikings, I can't end this post without including this:
