The Hate came 1st.

Try to drop troops and get :GERONI....LOCKUP!
Solution = wait a couple days, it will get fixed.
The Love came the minute I figured out how to get on a CV.
I happened to appear in the middle of a huge battle and spent 20 minutes just switching views watching.
There was a TBM off the port side almost not visible through the AA fire and water spouts around him.
There were Planes taking off, PT boats scurrying around and escort Destroyers firing massive amounts of steel into the air.
The sky was black with flak and fighters were everywhere I looked fighting, smoking, crashing.
Watching the fantail was a hoot as explosions came one after another as pilots misjudged their approach and piled into it.
I sure do not envy the guys who have duty stations back there!
I have no framerate problems {P3 500, V770 TNT2@32MB, 192MB RAM) but sure understand how older rigs could bog down.
Carrier takeoffs and landings are too easy and a zillion words wil be exchanged around here about that.
On that point I speak with the authority of a player who has exactly 2 carrier landings in any sim.
They both happened last night, one with a Corsair and one with a Hellcat and the carrier was turning when I landed the Hellcat.
I am impressed, there is way more to love than hate.
