AMD2.8/Asus/FX5600

Just built Saturday afternoon with a Gig of DDR memory.

Very nice in AH.. Thru a smoke filled furball I maintain 80FPS where with my old P4 I would shrink to 15 FPS with stutters..

The entire project Case/asusMB/Gig DDR/2.8 proc/misc less than $500 before uncle's cut....

Goodbye old pixelated airplanes...Hello smooth beautiful graphics...

I dont know what the problem with the P4 was, but when I stuck the FX5600 in it, it performed very weak and at times it seemed like the processor couldn't keep up with the Video card data... Especially in a furball it would hesitate severly.
The new Chip and MB perform like champs and frame rate is smooth as silk even during large furballs...
I have spent more time playing with the nvidia settings then actually flying seriously and I can maintain solid frame rates now in any situation, furballs are smooth with around 30 planes, I used to avoid bomber formations due to the frame rate death I would get..
Tonight I will test AH2 with it and enjoy some of HT's new painting art....
