I know that my AH film viewer shows garbled graphics for just a spit second and then clears right up and runs fine.  Assuming youve dont the latest drivers (I have...they came out last week).

Try some easy things:

Change desktop resolution and color depth just to see if it helps

Change refresh rate (keep it over 75 though heheheh)

Try changing the detail sliders for the card proporties (yea...those evil things)

Not that any of these should make any diference...but sometimes its the simple solution that elludes ya.  My 9800 Pro runs fine....also try turning off that overclock thingy:D

Mike

PROBLEM SOLVED!

What i did was put all the sliders and things on the card to application preference and it seemed to do the trick...NOW I can go back to the regular ah setting i had set and it works fine.  I think what caused this was the VSYNCH section.  seems to work great now.

BTW....how do you look around in viewer can you????

In my case it was the anti-aliasing.  Film viewer works with AA and AF set to app pref and all other sliders to the far right.  With AA at x2 or x4 video is garbled and is worse at x4 than x2.  I normally us AA x 4.

Thanks,
