Cats vs Pats
« on: January 28, 2004, 07:10:18 AM »

Purchased this awhile back, then realized to do it right you need an airbrush. Has been collecting dust. Only the box it came in has been opened, pieces are all in plastic and all should be there.

Email me the WINNER AND EXACT SCORE by noon SAT. If you successfully pick the winner and exact score, I will mail this off to you. If nobody guesses correctly it goes back on the shelf.

Plz do not post here, my email should be listed as Tenthstream@hotmail.com . I'll post here sat evening. Outside of US pays postage. Plz include BB name in email. Good luck.

P.S. Must send email to confirm. First come first serve, you will be emailed back if pick already taken.

Been there, built that..and you're right about the airbrush. My then-3-year old got ahold of it... :(  (I'm not taking part, but the score will be Pats 31-Carolina 28)

Not to ruin the contest or anything, but I've achieved a similar paint effect by dry-brushing with a ModelMaster #0 brush on a Bf109.

I'll send you an email anyway, going with Pats 27, Cats 17.  It'll certainly make the Super Bowl more entertaining this year. ;)

If nobody wins the contest, maybe we can do a kit swap.  I've got a spare 1/72 Dragon Ki-61 kit, opened for inspection and to seal the decals in a ziplock bag.  I also have a 1/48 Me-109 "Galland" kit that I won in a e-Bay bid before I realized it was 1/48 and not 1/72.

Not into modeling, but New England 16, CAROLINA PANTHERS 38.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
