A note about today's Loose Rivets
« on: November 06, 2000, 11:52:00 AM »
No, it's not up yet (at the time of posting)   Didn't have time to finish it yesterday and only just sent it off; sorry Ronni! (She's responsible for putting them on the page).

Anyway, just wanted to make it clear in advance that I'm not trying to offend anyone in any Loose Rivets - they're intended as a light-hearted look at AH, the people and the events that go on. Still, I'm a little worried that today's might be seen as a whine or an insult to those who put effort into the Afrika Korps event. It's really not intended that way. If anyone does feel I've stepped over the line though, I'd appreciate any emails.

Thanks

Personally I think your toons suck to begin with...... ;-) j/k

They are cool, tell the straight up truth with a humorous twist.

I like 'em, always have and always will.

Now about your sig.. what squad and pilot does that F4U belong to? Is it a real paint job? I'd like to do some research on it.. neat looking paint job.

SW,
The Nose and fin markings(the checkerboards) on the plane are VMF-115 markings. Duma created the Tail art for it himself.  The 002 my just signify his XO position in our squad or he may have found some better info than I have from the VMF-115
