I just wanted to post a note to the entire crew of Hitech Creations to say.....THANK YOU!
Thank you for allowing the members of your message board to express their feelings, once again, without fear of retribution. I'm sure that there are points of view which have been posted here or in the "O'Club" that you may not agree with but it is wonderful to see that anyone is able to express their own points of view without being edited, threatened to be "banned", actually "banned" from here or the thread "disappearing" like what had happened, in excess, previously.
I don't know if there was an office meeting or something but I applaude the person in charge for making the decision of allowing free speech (within reason per the terms of service) to reign once again.
I am not someone who may post everyday or to every single topic but as an avid reader and long time subscriber to your product, I did long for the days of the heated and sometimes, (depending on what the frame of mind was of a member who responded?!?!) well thoughtout discussions (without insulting, personal attacks) to continue. It seemed like that had been lacking for the last year or so. I know for a fact that many people were wary of posting due to the threat of "probation" or "banning" that seemed to be quite common. My personal opinion, some cases weren't warranted at all. Just my $.02, for what it is worth.
As a community, if we could monitor ourselves and expect gentlemanly behavior from everyone, there would be no need for constant monitors in the common arenas in Aces High as we need now.
As much as I respect and am in awe as to what Hitech Creations have accomplished with such a small staff these last couple of years, we must admit that if as much time and effort went into monitoring and censoring the arenas as was applied to the monitoring and censoring of these boards the last couple of months, the arenas would be a much better and cordial place to spend our time.
So, respectfully, I thank the entire staff of Hitech Creations. I don't know how long it will last but it is like a breath of fresh air. Whether you agree with the "direction" of the wind or not.
Keep up the great work!! One flyer here appreciates everything you do.
