I agree also that feilds should have names. But I beleive there is a way they should be done.
rather then have feilds named after current players or squads. The classy thing to do would have all named feild named after our camrads in arms whom are no longer with us.
What better way to honor their memory then to have a feild named after them.
same thing with once famous (within the game) and now defunct sqauds.
We should take it a step farther and have particular name retired.
That is no longer available for use in game play.
As much contribution as fester, or hightech or scuzzy, Kraits or any currently living person or currently active squad has made to the game I dont think any feild should be named after them.

Someone tell HT that named fields have been done already - years ago. It was accepted then. It'll be accepted now.
Someone tell HT that historical representation helps immerse the player deeper into the action. And, this immersion is exactly what that T.O.D. stuff is going to need if the "new geeks" are going to pay to play.
I've said it many times...it's boring fighting for A:xxx and V:zzz. Mitsu Jima sounds a helluva lot more interesting.
