Time for a change..

I am going to start learning a secondary plane, in addition to the p38.  I am going to start flying the yak models, 9T/9U.

If you guys have any tips that'll help me learn this animal, post em here, because I know absolutely nothing about them, besides the fact I can't shoot for crap with the guns. :D

Its a fast Spit with low ammo.  Very good in a knife fight.  It will out turn anything it cannot out run.

OK, I am going to highjack this.  Does the 5 turn better than the 7?  It looks like it to me but I always thought it was because of the way I was using the 5.

IMO the 5 is a much better turn/stall fighter than the 7.

Speed, while the 9U has no wep, frankly it doesn't need it.

The 9T has that big beast of a cannon, slows it considerably, but has wep.

I like em both & there is not a lot of difference between them except in armament.

ive turned inside many yaks with a 38, and i havent been able to outrun most yaks.  mabye i didnt fight a good yak pilot, not sure.

Yeah, noticed I can outturn many yaks with the 38.  Im not flyin yak all that much though.. maybe 1 of 10 sorties, the other 9 are still 38. ;)
