To all of you in the AH community, it's been my pleasure to have known Segue, aka CrzyHrs, aka Bilge Pump ( a humorus name we gave him while he was in the Flying Circus), et. al...for several years. It is with both deep sorrow and Honor that four of us will fly a Missing Man formation on Monday night, February the 9th, 2004 and 21:30 HRS EST. The flight will consist of Hajo, Shamus, Vati, and myself (EDO) with Hajo flying in the missing man slot.
I would like you all to celebrate Ricks life and his love of the game and join us when this event takes place this coming Monday night. The event will undoubtedly be filmed by each and every one of us so get your film files cleaned up and ready. Vati and I will be coming out of retirement for this very special occasion so you may not know us by name. Maybe HTC will let Vati and I have our old names back for this very special occasion; we can only hope.
Let's get the entire community online at this time all around the world to make this something that we all can remember Rick by. He was a good friend, squadronmate and wingman to many of us throughout the years. We will all be Bishops that night I'm assuming, since Rick was one. With the consenus of all four, I would like to propose that the P-51D Mustang be the plane of choice for this event. Rick liked the Mustang. It was his favorite ride.
Maybe with HTC's permission, we can get a one time map rotation that has a map with no "weather" in it. Rick hated weather. Lake Uterus comes to mind but the weather would need to be turned off if that's possible.
