I've just taken a cursory look at the P51d, and I noticed there appears to be only 1 upper wing, mirrored on both sides. This immediatly limits potential for reskinning, for example to RAF colours, as any markings must of necessity be symetrical.

May I suggest the AH2 bitmaps are urgently audited, *before* a large library of player skins are created, to ensure that all aircraft have unique areas of bitmap for each wing, port, starboard, upper and lower, ditto sides and  tail-planes?

Fidd,

Superfly addressed this recently in here right after the release of the beta with skins in it. As it stands now this is how they will be because of some limitations (not sure if its time/workload/bandwidth/etc...). Several of us wish we had just a little more texture maps to work with but at this time thats not going to happen. Although there is hope that things can change in the future.
