Fix Scoring. I have enjoyed most of the changes, the game just keeps getting better. But...
It gets so tiring to have the scoring system keep registering the same cheesy kill scores, etc.
#1 - Kill vs. Assist
- I think that if we are going to have these 2 categories, instead of splitting kills like in history, then assist should factor into the ranks.
#2 - Cheesy Vicinity Kill Scores
- Maneuver kills are one thing. If someone goes into a stall because youre on their tail, then you should get the kill. BUT, there are just WAY too many people getting maneuver kills for stuff that had nothing to do with them. People crashing on takeoff, some guy gets a free kill just because he's in the vicinity. People stalling out because they're stupid, some guy gets a kill cuz he's in the vicinity.
#3 - Losing Kills due to Kill Stealers
I get sick to death of popping someone good, then on their exit someone else comes along, and picks them off and gets the kill. I don't know how its calculated, and often it seemingly works ok, but often it does not.
#4 - Bombing scoring is whacked.
Bombing ranking is totall whacked. It doesnt seem to give you credit for the enemy you shoot down, and when you compare the fighter ranks to bomber ranks, it looks almost exactly the same.
#5 - Vehicle Ranking need a new category
Vehicles are NOT bombers. The skills arent even remotely connected. There needs to be a 3rd category.
#6 - Base Capture scoring unfair
Just because you get the last troop in the door doesnt mean you should get the only point for the capture.
#7 - Ranking by plane/bomber/vehicle
I'd love to know who the top gun is in each different type of plane. It would sure open up a lot more to strive for if there was more than just 1 #1, Overall #1, Plane Specific #1, Category #1, etc
