Pantera = Damageplan

Anyone upset about Pantera...or specifically Phil Anselmo leaving Pantera for SuperJoint Ritual?

Rumours are that ol' Phil using heavy drugs again, i.e. Herion, and that the Darrell brothers don't tolerate drug use but the guys in SJR do.

Sad to see Pantera gone but I have to admit that I like what I have heard of Damageplan.  It's a little looser than Pantera but with some major groove to it.

Pat has some growl in him to and all together Damageplan is solid.

I was suprised that Pat is singing for Damageplan since he had played guitars in Fight (at least I think it's Fight) with Rob Halford.

Didn't know he had pipes also.

I'm also waiting for a new Slipknot or Stonesour CD.

Yeah, Phil has been fading away for years now.... He hasn't sounded good since Far Beyond Driven,if then. I'm glad to see the rest of Pantera doing something. Damageplan rocks! also Have you heard the new Drowning Pool? they have a new frontman, and their new stuff is bad prettythang!!!!!

You're right...I should have quantified what I meant by 'drugs'.
