Will AH2 support Track IR Enhanced mode? FAR better than normal mouse mode. Please :)

No need to be embarrased, the question has yet to be answered.

Embarrased that I didn't make a proper search for a thread about it ;)

So if I understand it right, it doesn't support enhanced more (like Il2 or LoMac does) as it is now?

I haven't checked since a beta or two ago but it did not support enhanced mode at that time.

HTC are aware of it.
I'm pretty sure they have it planned.
My guess is that it is one of the last things they'll implement.

I don't know about you guys, but I would almost perfer multi-monitor support.

Now, I don't have one of these IR things so I maybe out of line here.  But I think it's kinda of silly to move my head to change the view, when the monitor itself doesn't move.  I.E. I have to turn my head sideways to change view, and shift my eyes to maintain contact with the monitor.

You dont have to do that...you can also just lean.

However the looking works very well...its not like you have to turn your head 45º to get a 45º view.  You just turn a little and it is muchmore imersive.....with ENHANCED support anyway.

There is a reason its refered to as Cheat-IR by those poor souls who dont have one and play IL2 online :D

Well its the CheatIR in il2 because you can get a full 6 view, provided you "know how". Where as players without it can't. In particular back up view is of real benefit that some TrackIR users have.

Freeview is a cheap alternative to TrackIr. It will work with a webcam. There is also new view for FB that is very interersting but I havent used it. Search the UBI forums for both of these.

TrackIR is one of the best thing for flight sims to come along recently.

Yup, invaluble when you fly Lo-mac. Probarly in IL2 aswell.

Won't use it in AH untill we get real enhanced support for it though.
