maybe i have too many hobbies but.... I have pretty much forgotten the old Healey for about 2 months now... The sun came out and... Well..

the thing fired right up. Them "optima" batteries are frigging great... Got one in both my cars.. battery acid on the posts and terminals is a thing of the past. The battery holds a charge longer than any I have ever owned too.

It was a gorgeous day here yesterday too. Took my scooter out and rode a 100 mile triangle. It was probably a bit cooler here though Laz, mid 40's. I got a chill before the ride was over but it was worth it. My phyque is reset to zero again and I can take on the WORLD!!

I look forward to driving it Wednesday. Any chance you can have a fresh paint job on it by then. Don't fiddle with the heating system... I'm sure it will be perfect for the weather.

passenger side is warmer than drivers for some reason... the carpet melted in one spot.

allready have a fresh coat of primer on it.

I don't know how to post pics but... I reversed the colors... It's semi flat black on top with semi flat red inserts on the sides. welll... right now it is covered with a layer of dust.

That's because your Healey has the steering wheel on the wrong side.

I believe that there are two little islands... maybe three that still cling to putting the wheel in the passenger side and then driving on the left side of the road.

...and one of those little islands measures about 3000 miles across - it's called Australia. There's also a piddling little country you've probably never heard of, which is home to about ¼ of the world's population and also drives on the left side. It's called China. There are quite a few others, but that will do to be going on with.

yeah but only about what? 5 miles of australia is occupied? and china.... what? a dozen cars? who cares what side of the road they drive on since they are unlikely to see another car.

On the australians.... lot of guys In my modified Healey group live there... Australians are real hot rodders..

Don't forget India (not that they take any notice of what side they are supposed to be driving on).
Many Asian countries drive on the proper side of the road
