That was a lot of fun Arlo!

I got there late, because I thought you guys were hittin A20 so I went W from A24 to try to cut you off. DeeJaay, yet again, called it earlier than anybody else that you were hitting A13, so I turned and headed due E towards A13. I got cons on the 17's about 2 seconds before DeeJaay called "bombs away".

I blew through the buffs taking snapshots, but I cant hit much with a 262 going 550kts. Rafe shot me to ribbons, all control surfaces were shot up, cannons hit, engines smoking, gear damaged, but I somehow managed to get away. I was deadstick into the next big base N (I forget the #) and had everything lined up perfectly. Guess I was a bit too fast for a belly landing.

System:Rafe shot you down you dolt!
System:Grits, you are a worthless dweeb

Then a group of us did the NOE raid on A18 in 234's. That was a lot of fun flying under a cloud of Allied dots attacking A20 and them not comming after us. I think we all made it back too, not sure.

Allies!

I ran film on the 234 raid from about the time we popped up.  I'll see if there are any decent frames.  Can someone remind me how to capture a picture off a film?

Deej recorded the whole thing so he probably has better content.

I recorded it from right after takeoff when we were grouping up to the W of A24. I'll see if I can get some good shots too.

Slash , where is Tioga?

Find D/FW on the map, look north to Denton, then look north and a little east up by Lake Ray Roberts. Youll see Pilot Point then Tioga. Pop. 750. Birthplace of Gene Autry I might add:D
