According to the linked article this describes the photo which was doctored...

Quote
As a 20-year-old photographer documenting the country's struggle over the Vietnam War, Ken Light snapped the picture of John Kerry at a peace rally in Mineola. It captured the future senator alone at a podium, squinting into the sun.

The same article describes "an authentic photo of Kerry and Fonda at a Vietnam-era rally -- seated some distance apart" which could possibly be this one...

Just because he's there I think it doesn't make much difference.... an avowed war protester at an anti war rally seems like a reasonable expectation... at least he isn't giving her tongue.

BfC finally came to cable and I tried to watch it. I lasted only about 45 minutes. How anyone could be taken in by such drivel is beyond me. Certainly gave me a new insight into those applauding his "work".

First.
I would have done Jane..she was hot.
Second.
If a guy cant come back from serving his country and  tell what he saw and that he disagrees with it, thats wrong.
Third
I thought BFC had some real sad parts. Some interesting parts but some flat out dishonest parts. If he had nuts he would investigate how gun crime statistics are effected by demographics. But he doesnt. He has an aggenda. So I didnt like BFC, but it is exaclty the type of nonsence americans get in place of facts from thier own executive branch of goverment. So apperently that is the only tone of information that is valued by americans..

"If a guy cant come back from serving his country and tell what he saw and that he disagrees with it, thats wrong. "

True, except for  the fact that he lied his butt off in front of congress about the "atrocities" he saw and later recanted his testimony. Kinda like how he faked throwing away his vietnam medals during a protest and now proudly keeps them on display in his senate office. Plus that "heart fealt honest" testimony of a young "vietnam veterans experiences" he delivered to congress in the 1970s was written by a hard left political activist,  adam walinsky who was Ted Kennedy's proffesional speech writer at the time...

That guy Kerry is a first class phoney.

Sounds like a normal evolution from shame to acceptence to pride for what he went through.

Honestly GH. Its a bit troubleing to me.
When this man you revile was old enough to serve his country he did so and then went through a perfectly normal evolution in how he matured and delt with it.

You are of an age to serve your country in the same way. Why do you not?

You didn't know Vietnam was a phoney war financed by the Heinz Family? Oh yeah, they paid that VC guys family a years worth of Soy Sauce and a lifetime supply of ketchup so Kerry could build up a patriotic background for his Presidential campaign. There was never actually any danger to Americans in country. He was to star in a remake of "To Hell and Back" with Fonda costarring as his love interest, but his screen test showed too many wrinkles and Botox had not yet been discovered.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

With you both points!

My only problem with Kerry is his current display of his medals after making the years-ago fake show of discarding them. I can respect either choice, but not the apparent hypocrisy involved in adopting both.

That and he looks like a walking talking noodle.
