civil war has broken out in haiti, where is the UN, where is france,canada, mexico,norway, do they expect the USA to INVADE haiti unilateraly????

What does Haiti have that is politically important to the UN or any major power?  They don't have huge oil reserves.

i asked a question  and it was answered

imperial france wanted to invade it's former colony and the USA wants to settle it diplomaticaly.

i thought you peaceniks were in favor of peacefull settlements?

Remember that Clinton sent US troops in late '94.


There was a follow-on UN peacekeeping mission from Dec. 1997–March 2000.
