"The Train", starring Burt Lancaster. It's about a French railway worker who sets out to destroy a train bound for Germany loaded with confiscated French paintings.

"Paths of Glory" starring Kirk Douglas. An excellent anti-war film set in WWI, where three men from a French regiment are randomly chosen to be executed for cowardice during an aborted attack on a German stronghold.

Rent "Battle Royale". Probably be in the import section. It's out of Japan.

'Bend it Like Beckham' is a good new release.

'Intolerable Cruelty' was surprisingly good too.  Didn't realize it was a Coen brothers film when the wife rented it, it just looked like a dumb romantic comedy, but it aint.

We're renting lots of movies this week, it's the first few days home from the hospital w/ the newborn.  We've got Lion King 1.5 as well, looks interesting (same voice actors as the original, supposedly not a cheap knockoff).

"Marathon Man"  with Dustin Hoffman and Sir Lawrence Olivier.

You'll love the "Is it safe?" sequence.
