Passenger Dies After Truck Hits Citrus Bowl

ORLANDO - A truck crashed into the Citrus Bowl early Monday morning, killing one person and injuring another.
Officials said the truck was speeding south when it lost control and struck the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium about 4:45 a.m.
The truck's passenger was killed, and the driver was hospitalized in critical condition.
Officials said the crash caused no serious damage to the Citrus Bowl, although officials said an inspection would be done as a precaution.
The names of the driver and passenger were not immediately released.
The stadium was constructed in 1936 and seats 70,000.
It is the home of the Capital One Bowl each New Year's Day and the University of Central Florida and Jones High School football teams.
