Who ? ... LTAR

Where ? ... Knights

These guys are experts on the ground when it comes to base defense. When these guys decide to defend a base and come pouring out of the GV hanger, they dig in like ticks and fight like badgers. Always glad to see LTAR around when the "horde" comes rolling in.

LTARs are the best reason to bring eggs to a fight since the invention of eggs.

I don't care what a squad does as long as they don't take themselves too seriously, have a good attitude, and have fun. LTARs by this definition are a good squad on the whole.

I couldn't stand sitting in GVs myself, but from time to time I'll resupply them with M3s because I chuckle when I see the channel 1 whines when they pop someone.

LTAR's catch a lot of flack( hehe sorry)  for being a GV squad.
Since the game is what we make of it, I cringe at the hypocrisy of those that make fun of them.

some of them are smack talking dweebs.... Oh my.. now there is some hypocrisy!

Footnote: Sorry, it seemed kinda funny to me.

Hats off to the LTARs, they've found a niche in the game that appeals to them and they're good at it.  Like someone mentioned, it's funny to hear the whines about them over open channel.  No fear of being vulched when they're on duty.

I only get anoyed with them when they target my at abt 4k away in their flacks!!lol I really admire these guys although they can make me cringe when I see them comeing... Cringe only because I know I'll probably die trying to kill their M3 which is about to take my base.

I watched them work together one day like a finely tuned Swiss Watch to take this base I was at. Before that day I never knew what they were about and how good they really were in those god forsaken GVs. But after that day my mind was made up and I had much respect for the way they had taken that base away with ease.

To anyone who has their doubts on the effectivness of base taking with GV's, or deffence for that matter, I strongly sugest you watch these guys in action. Its really a cool sight to see them work together and help one another out the way they do.

My hat is off to you fellas.<>

Easier said than done ... you may get 1 of them, but you will eventually pay the price if you stick around too long or hang-it out there.

Like Morph said ... these guys will pick you off a distances that others would not even consider taking a shot.

Example: I was flying defensive CAP at a base with the LTAR's on the ground. Zoomed down on a guy that was at least 1.5 to 2K over the base ... just about ready to pull the trigger and I see a stream of flack come off the ground and POOF !!! ... no more bandit. Looked down and there was LTAROwl ... who has to be the badest sum'beech in a Flak Panzer, in all of AH.
