It's probably not the first time that record company executives have been likened to Al Capone, but this time a judge might have to agree or disagree.

A New Jersey woman, one of the hundreds of people accused of copyright infringement by the Recording Industry Association of America, has countersued the big record labels, charging them with extortion and violations of the federal anti-racketeering act

My nephews wanted to go to the mall yesterday and while I was there I saw the price on CDs. It amazed me since I haven't bought a CD in a couple years...

Why would a CD that is 6 years old be selling for $20? Heck, for chuckles I saw a Twisted Sister CD that was selling for close to $20.

They are only hurting themselves, many people like me still won't buy CDs for just this reason.

I'd pay 19.99 a month if they offered me unlimited downloading of what ever song I wanted.  Piracy is gonna happen but I think they need to apeal to their customers instead of sueing them

But all of the services you can buy don't have full access to all the songs.  And that's the major downfall.

A lot of the new napster users are really pissed because they can't even find half of the music out there.
