Purse parties

Dear God.  Anyone else have this virus become the new fad in their city?  Every woman is talking about going to/hosting/been to one of these things.

I was happy to hear today that local authorities are starting to crack down on them.  One woman was arrested here last week and she is being charged with a felony because of the amount of couterfeit stuff they found in her home, car, and storage unit.  Apparently she was making monthly trips to NY to by the stuff and returning with a truckload.

Beware if your woman is wishing to host one of these.

OK, great.  Maybe it is only a Midwest thing.

Ever heard of TupperWare parites?  It's like that, except the items being sold are counterfeit, knock-off purses.  Women are going crazy about these things.  Someone knows someone who knows someone who is a "distributor" and they schedule this person to come to their home and hawk their wares.  It's all the rage here.

If you have never heard of this before, please tell me where you live.  I am looking for a city where all of the women aren't insane, and will move there promptly.

My wife and I have never heard of this, and we live in Los Angeles.

LA isn't usually considered a bastion of mental stability, but I guess we're ahead of your town.  :D

I've seen the same sort of thing done with photo albums and gift baskets.  My wife avoids them like the plague.  The way she sees it, if those people really were her friends, they wouldn't try to sell her stuff.

I have a simple rule: I don't sell stuff to friends.  I either give it willingly or I sell it to somebody else.  Nothing ruins a friendship like a perception of being taken for a dollar.

If and when you find this paradise please call, come by, send a letter or any other means of comms you have to inform me of it's location. Because I am going to send my wife there so everybody can be as miserable as the rest of us. Thanks in advance.

Dunno about purse parties but I'm all for the dildo parties.  I'm thinking of suggesting that my wife host one, but I need to find a good web cam first.
