Abusive Language in the CT
« on: February 19, 2004, 06:53:04 PM »
This may not be a good idea to post this here but I just cant help it. I did not get the first meeting on a screen shot, but I did the last one. Yes he did send it to HTC and yes I did get an email.

Yes it is aginst policy, yes I will eventualy do it again....CT guys can piss me off. HTC can cancel my account when "they" feel I dont need to be here, but no one will tell me when or when not I can or cant speek my mind...NO ONE!

Well ... yes they can. Go to a movie theater and see how many minutes you can last through a show doing that. Or a restaurant. Or even a bar. The only difference here is that you'll have a player send in the film .... if there isn't a moderator on the spot to tell you to cool your heels ... and to escort you to the door if you don't.

Just sayin'. Simple logic. Cool down. It's starting to sound like you want to get banned. It'd probably be better to just quit. That way .... later on .. if the bug bites ... you won't hafta slink back in under cognito, bro.

You catch the same malady Storch got or sumpin'? :D

They can tell me... but I will say what I want, when I want...I will  suffer the results....small price for being free! Sure, escort me out, put me behind bars whatever...I am who I am and I will speak when I want to speek.

Thats why there are "policys". Don't like our policy, stay away? NO, dont abide by the policy, if its not really what you want, "under a law"  "drag me out"....

Yup ... you caught the same tardbug Storch got. Yup ... America the land of the free. Feel free to act stupid in public and suffer the consequences. But, dammit! You're free-willed and out-spoken and stupid and proud of it! :D

Stop it. Stop it now before it's too late. :aok

why not just quit the game for awhile rather than forcing someone at HTC to have a sucky day having to nix your account?

Just a thought.

Alert: this is my one serious post per year

I enjoy a good rant as much as anybody.  However, I can’t help but think that people that go off over a game need a little perspective. Just as an an example: volunteering at a pediatric oncology ward, spending some time around little kids with cancer. You know, people dealing with real problems … and doing it without nearly this much drama and commotion.

That’s it … see ya next year.

Words of wisdom.  It's a game, for Pete's sake.  Magee, you dog, I think you're being infected by the influx of MA folk who have been cluttering up the airwaves with similar talk.  Chill, dude.

Oldman, your not one to point fingers about foul langauge, every time you get killed the first thing you do is come up on channel 1 and spout things like "Congrats xxx". I dont know what "congrats" means but it sure sounds mean and nasty. :p

Bye Hawk, nice knowing you.

Remember, kids play this game too.  If I were an administrator I'd boot anyone who couldn't stop cursing.  I really would hate to see you go,but expect that's what will happen.

Frankly guys I wasnt really mad at all. I said a few things and Toad didnt like it, instead of squelching me, he provoked me. I said my piece :)

It started something to do with asking for the CVs to be moved a little closer, when the "comander" refused (both CV groups that is!) I said what I felt, then taod steped in.....see above.

A situation like this has already been through the court system. An employee called his supervisor a F#$%^&* Kid! The supervisor replyed, "What did you call me? The employee replyed again, "You F!@#$%^ Kid!" The employee was fired. Because of the question, the cort ruled that the supervisor provoked the employee and sided with the employee. There is more to it than that but I dont have the report handy!

Read the screen shot, further comments were the result of being provoked. Three times!, 1. "Sure", 2. "Keep going bro!" and 3. "Thx"

See you guys tonight!!
Hawk
