i just realized i started my account in the middle of Feburary 2 years ago.

i can now say im a veteran no? lol

how long you been flying AH?

Ps. i never flew a flight sim of any kind (except apple IIc microprose strike eagle back in grade school) befor AH.

im coming up on one year in about 27 days. I played 1 other combat sim before this and like i was in the beginning here, i was a Bomber Dweeb.

lol Aces High was my very first Combat Flight Sim. In December 2002, I download the game at Zdnet.com where I found the game for free and after download was finish I was happy person. I have been playing H2H quiet for a while in Spring thru Summer until I was ready enter Main Area/Combat Theater.

exactly 2 years as of yesterday...wich means the anniversary of my first kill is in about 3 weeks (took me most of that time to learn how to keep the plane in the air...all second nature now)

before this i played ace of aces on a c64 (actually it was when i was 6...10 years ago

) and have a few memories (should have more but i have a terrible memory) of playing it with my dad (as i remember he mostly navigated us to the v1s and enemy planes...i just pointed the crosshairs and shot)

was i think feb 18th or something or feb 24th lol. just remember JB42 bringing me to his house to teach me hoe to configure a joystick in the game (I worked with him and he got me into the game) it was cold as hell that night. tons of snow on the ground too.

I started with version 1.05.

After a few months, the Fw190D-9 and the La-7 was first introduced into the game.

i only remember because it was exactly 1 day after we got the internet wich was exactly 1 week after we bought the computer...wich we got on day 2 of the teacher strike...(that year was crazy...2 week techer strike 1 day student strike and 1 snowday about a week after the strike ended...oh and 2 days out of school suspension for beating the **** out of someone who deserved it...grade 9 rocked) that and i checked my account stuff about a month ago...

I Downloaded AH the first day in open beta, and been flying since.
Never closed account either

I dont know how long that is, 5 1/2 year or so ?

Before that I flew Warbirds in 3+ years.

Biggest let down in this period was when Hitech and Pyro left WB, biggest pleasure was when they announced that they where gonna create AH.

Yes I admit it, I am the biggest Hitech cheerleader there is

First tried AH in October 2000 but at the time my main game was Air Warrior, which I had played since July 1998. My squad moved here in April 2001 at the 'beginning of the end' for AW, and I played both until the plug was pulled. Been here ever since.

1.05 was early 2001 I'm guessing. I started playing 1.02 I think, in July 2000, just before the FM change. AH being my first big online game, it was an amazing experience.
