Four quick questions...
« on: February 18, 2004, 05:15:11 PM »
I was thinking the other day about where everyone is from and started wondering how many AH virtual pilots are in my area and/or work for the same company I do.So, I have four things I'd like to know:

Anyone work for IBM? Anyone live in the south-east United States?  Anyone live in Georgia? Does anyone live in the Atlanta Metro area?

I will start it off:

I do work for IBM and I live in Stockridge, Georgia which is about 20 minutes south of downtown Atlanta.

I've worked for IBM on three separate occasions! Two of those were at client sites, and one was at their South Bank offices in London. I enjoyed working for them.

Americans don't work for IBM anymore(They are too expensive)  IBMers are all Indians now, hired at $2.50 and hour and no benefits.

I really wasn't looking for commentary on IBM...they pay my bills and that is about as far as I will say here right now concerning their policies and business decisions.

My job is not currently in danger of being sent overseas.

Now, if we can just nudge this back on topic... :D

I drive by an IBM building everyday on my way to work.   I even applied for a job once at that building, back in 1978,  Does that count?   I just want to belong,...no one ever talks to me,....

will you be my friend?....
