6 or 86 Refinements Away?

(Approaching the throne respectfully, hat in hand) ... NOT to put any pressure on anyone ... NOT to start another round of endless speculation ... NOT to be a smart bellybutton ...

but, well, shucks ... (drum roll) ... Does Beta 19914 mean we are 6 or 86 refinements from Aces High II?

Aces High is doing wonderfully as a classic cash cow, and if it existed forever just the way it is, it would be a great game.  

But it's now 2004, and just wondering ... II this year?  If so, which season?  Maybe which month?

*shrug* depends on if they want all the old planes enabled before going gold...wich they wont cause it will take them at best nearly a year to redo everything not including bombers...

i figure they'll want at least 20  fighters and 4 bombers...

20 fighters at 2 fighters in 2 weeks (1 and a half weeks to do the planes another halfto work out the big bugs in a second patch...if they really push hard) it will take 2 and a half months to do that...

plus

4 bombers at 1 in 2 weeks (1 and a half to do the plane and another half to work out the bugs) it will take another 2 months to do that...

4 months...

Didn't they say bombers take longer with all of the views and larger overall size? :confused:

personally, id rather just have betas with new additions and features, and keep the AH we got now with all the planes etc, until AH2 is fully finished.

yeah...im saying that at best they could do 1 bomber including bug fixes in 2 weeks...and 2 fighters with bug fixes in 2 week...and thats probably the very fastest they could do it
