Author Topic: Stuck in Monitor span mode (Read 280 times)

Ok I admit it..I've pulled a real boner this time!

I was screwing with my windows display properties and clicked the "extend desktop to another monitor" box.
(I think that's what it said.)
Only problem is I only have 1 monitor!
Now all aps open to the nonexistant monitor off the screen!
(except IE).
I cant right click on the desktop and get the properties menu back...it also opens off the screen.
How can I get back into single monitor mode?
Arrgh! any ideas?

reboot into safemode and undo what you did.

Hit the F8 key before I think thw widows logo appears someone corrct me if im wrong here.

yep hit F8 while starting up and go into safe mode then redo what you did
