THE GREAT TEST?

how about a H2H test?
get the best pilots together in th diffrent planes and test dives/turns/climbs etc..film it and post it?
perhaps one of the htc crew could host it
i still find that quoted speeds in books about the planes we are flying do not seem obtainable.eg 109g6 385mph at 22640ft or 379mph at 13,125ft or p51 437mph at 25,000ft?
i always seem to be at 310mph in most level flights at that height.
id like to see a list of performance specs taken from actual tests in AH not quotes from books.only this will sort out the over/under modlling debate imho
just imagine ..no more 'you cant dive at that speed and beat me' rants

funked

I've done a lot of testing on my own, and the performance on all of the planes seems real close to that on the performance charts.

Hazed you seem to be using IAS instead of TAS.  Look at the red pointer on your airspeed indicator to determine TAS.
