I want to know what your favorite Tactics are. Here are a few of mine

P40 B and E - When dogfighting anything that manuvers like a spitfire or better, I tend to use half rudder and I like to keep my nose just a few degrees lower on the horizion. That way I can swing around them in time, full rudder sometimes works but not always.

Goon - Either be really low, or Really High (20k alt). When really low use terrain to your advantage, when possible go down valleys instead of going over hills. This will keep you hidden from the enemy quite well.

M8 - I don't know how many times I have tried to do tank to tank wars and not been able to catch up with the enemy. So I decided to start seeing what I could do with an M8, and I found that it was basically a Light Tank/Scout Car. As follows are some of the base tactics I have divised to use these in war situations to keep alive and outrun enemy tanks. Keep in mind that usually one hit from an enemy tank will kill you in an M8, so the best thing to do is sneak up behind them. If this is not possible, then you want to hit them from a direction where they have to turn their turret to get at you. This will buy you time to hit them. The Easiest way to kill a tank is hit them in their ass, or take out their tracks. The M8 can do this if you hit them in the right spot, but the chances of that are slim on the first few shots. What I reccomend is getting good at driving and gunning because the best way to stay alive is to keep running while your shooting. The turret is vunerable aswell to an M8's 37mm Cannon. So what you do is a few well placed shots, one after another and then you can about 4 out of 5 times disable the enemy then pick them off with shots till they die. It is rare that you will kill the tank in one hit, but I have done it before. The Easiest way to get a one shot killis to shoot directly down the barrel of the enemy tank, we all know this will almost never happen because the oppertunity will hardly ever present itself. Use these tactics and let me know of any suggestions, the M8 is my favorite Vehicle and I use it every chance I get. Kinda explains why I have died in it so much.

First I pour a healthy 2 to 3 fingers of the malty stuff. Then I sneak up on the computer and quickly push the on button. This gives me enough time to get saddled up and strapped in, as it is begrudgingly going through its start-up routine.

Now, getting it to do what I want can sometimes be a hard thing to do. Most nights by the time I have it purring and raring to go, the single malt has taken hold and I can't really be sure what happens after that.

I have been told however, that I am a sim Pilot and am partial to F4U's and Ponies.  Hmmmm. That may explain why my right thumb is so much bigger than my left. Well, go figure. Who woulda guessed?

Problem is Vort, that once the demon scotch grabs hold of ya, there's no telling how many fingers you end up having!
