This is really to HiTech HTC staff but, if anyone else knows beisdes them I'd be just as happy to hear from them.

Why has external view mode been taken out of the DA? Just cuirous really... Not that it is ever really a helpful tactic in dueling, I know I've never used it nor can i see how it could be used against your opponent.

I am just curious is all... I just dont see the point or need to disable this... Its going to sound silly but I always kind of liked to check out different planes from the out side... Now I cant:( Why the change?

i know it was enabled (maybe still?) for people who use /.join, but i never noticed (or tried) to use it flying a ftr...

Yeah, but i liked to get out of my plane and fly around, and see it zoomin through the air from the out side:D

There is a tactical advantage in a duel with Outside View.. The only thing is, it only works with one move.

I have found the external view valuable when teaching basic ACM to new players. I would like to see it enabled once again. It was disabled the same day the map rotated from FESTERMA.

You can go to the TA where external view is enabled, but the effect of fire is negated there, eliminating the learning factor of getting clobbered for mistakes. The sound of being hit is not as memorable as having one's wings chopped off....

yeah, at least offline there is the b/o r/o effect in external views.

ah well i only go external (in films/offline) to see the pretty planes...
