I still say too much wasted/unused landmass but thats just my opinion.

Other then that looks GREAT. Cant wait to start playing on it. One more good map means less time suffering on all those puny maps.

Shelling those HQs into oblivion from a CV should be fun too!

Well ... you could be AH's first "sooner".

The first day this map goes into rotation, fly your plane to one of the inhabited islands or atolls ... land ... stick you stake into the ground and colonize it.

Dred, just think.. NOE missions sneaking over the uninhabited part of the map with no flashing bases and no airfield sirens.

It could actually reinstate an element that's been missing for a while, the old "end run" attack.

Visually it's beautiful. We'll just have to wait and see how gameplay turns out when the stew of 600 noobs, vets, treadheads, furballers, cherrypickers, strateegeristos, squids and other paying customers actually use it.

the peanut gallery seemed to think Ozstralia sounded more like austrlia though

from HTC eskimo. HT didnt give me a reason but my guess is...

possibly they want to do names for airfields correctly? (as part of the actual icons maybe)

don't want clutter on the clipboard?

didnt like the names?

whatever the reason its all good to me. Ive played on many CT maps with names on the clipboard but I end up just looking at the airfield numbers anyway. so until the actual airfield numbers can be changed to names its probably best not to add more clutter to the map.
