262 Perks

I want 1 Me262 spotted every tour. Just to try it. Nothing more.

1 to fly, maybe 4 or 5 to see to shoot down.

I did my 1 hour in the CT to try and get 5 points for the next "COME FLY JETS!" thingy.

That's all.

Jeez.

How much do you play?

I don't play much anymore and I see the damned things WAY too often.

Two tours ago I had three nights in a row ruined by 4+ people showing up in them.

Yea, I agree.  I don't play a lot, Im not the greatest fighter pilot...so fighter perks are tough to accumulate.

The ones against this will undoubtedly be the ones whose perk scores are in the thousands... :p

Maybe start each tour with 200 perks?

Doesn't sound like that much to ask for to me.

I would like to see that extend to bomber and GV perks (doesn't have to be 200)

that way a squad could do a neat 234 buff run or a kewl 262 run and no one would have to be left behind.

The people with perk scores in the thousands probably aren't going to be the ones you find very often flying perked planes... hence the accumulation.

Exactly. So it won't change anything but a 10 minute fun run every tour for people that don't fly much, or don't accumulate lotsa perk time in slower TnB high perk making planes. That’s something that a lot of people enjoy, just not me.

Granting 200 points fresh at the beginning of a tour would be pretty easy to implement, and a better idea than spotting a plane. Never thought of it that way.

How about if every so often one of the small maps were an 'anything goes' map with everything unperked?

That'd be an awesome way to get 500 262's in the arena.

Me and my choice of wingman against 498 guys that've never flown jets? I'll take them odds.

Back in Warbirds, at the end of the rolling planeset, there would be one day when the 262 was turned on. That day always seemed to degenerate into 'Joust Warrior', as people demonstrated that the only way they could cope with the speed of the 262 was head-on after head-on, with the best long-range gunnery winning.

I fly at least one 262 a day, starting about a month ago.  I'm sure there are others that do the same.  There are plenty out there.  Just go to 20k around lightly gaurded area and you'll find em.

Put all the perk points in one category so you can use them for whatever you want. Bomber points are all but useless now.

i'd be for it as long as the 262's guns would be inoperable below 15k.

And this would do what?
