Results from Frame 3 Battle of Kasserine

In the third frame the LW managed to have several successful strikes so the points were worth looking at in detail.

Allied shot down 118 Aircraft
63 – 109’s
9 – Me 110’s
14 - 202’s
14 – Ju-87’s
8 – 190’s

For Aircraft shot down the Allies earned 1125 points
Subtract 200 points because the Allies did not use 4 different AC in frame 3.
Total Points Earned for Aircraft shot down 925 points

Axis shot down 47 Aircraft
37 – Spitfires
24 – P-40’s
8 – F4F’s

For Aircraft shot down the Axis earned 690 points

The Allies were defending 4 targets and attacking 1.  

1-   Protect A4 only 10% damage. 20 points to Axis 180 to Allies
2-   Protect the Truck Convoy between A31 and Fuel Depo just North West near 8.8.9. 100% damage 200 points to Axis and 0 points to Allies
3-   Protect V37 200 points to Axis 0 points to Allies
4-   Protect V54 200 points to Axis 0 points to Allies
5-   Attack D50 20 points to Axis 180 points to Allies

For objectives the Allies earned 360 points
For objectives the Axis earned 640 points

Total points for Frame 3
Allies 1285
Axis 1330

Just depends on your favorite flavor.

For all practical purposes this frame would be a draw if I did my math right. Axis lost a substantial amount of aircraft all three frames, but only in frame 3 were they able to have success in destroying any targets and completing more objectives than the Allies. Hope everyone had fun.

Ooops, my bad. I had originally had a Boston Raid planned, then decided that I'd rather fly the F4F than the Boston (I tend to give my squad the least attractive duty when I'm CO). I meant to change one of the P-40e squads to HurriIIC, and just forgot.

Sorry Allies! It was fun though

No problem, but I had to take the points to be fair.
